Atticus is an affable person. He is very easy to talk to. For example,"'do you defend niggers' I asked him that evening.'of curse I do. Don't say nigger, Scout. Thats common.'" Scout was not worried about asking Atticus this. Another example is,"'What's rape?' I(Scout) asked him(Atticus) that night." Again, Scout is not afraid to ask Atticus this question. This shows that Atticus isn't hard to talk to. Even things that are not often talked about do not cause Scout to shy away from discussing them with Atticus. Atticus will talk to almost anyone about anything.
